January the 1st 1848

1. The Shenadoah Valley cooperation met in Bordens school house January the 1st 1848. The Moderator of the last session being absent on motion of Bro Barr, Marten Boehm was called to the Chair & Isaac R Hite secretary.

2. The cooperation was then called to order after which the brethren proceeded to investigate charges of faction &c brought against Bro John J Jackson by Abram Strickler, Abram Saum & Isaac W Allen & circulated in some portions of eastern Virginia among the brethren to the manifest injury of the cause of the information & J J Jackson. Such charges consisted in writing letters in behalf of the congregations at Zion & Bordens, of which A Strickler, A Saum & I W Allen were members. The accusing parties failing to attend it was unanimously resolved that they be again cited to meet with the brethren at Walnut Springs on Satruday the 15th of January 1848.

2nd Resolved unanimously that the congregation in the city of Richmond be written too requesting a copy of a letter writtern by them to the congregation at Zion.

3rd Resolved that Bro M Boehm be, and hereby is, appointed by the brethren in cooperation to write to the congregations, or the elders of the congregations at Zion & Bordens giving them notice of the time & place of holding the next meeting for the purpose of investigating said charges of faction &c.

4th On motion the meeting adjourned untill Saturday the 15th of January 1848
