January 6th 1849. The cooperation met according to yesterday the 5th day of January 1849. The cooperation then went into business and selected Brother Arney to be the Evangelist for three months.

Resolved that Brother Martin F. Miley is appointed to correspond with Brother Arney in order to Employ him as an Evangelist for three months also appointed Brother Martin F. Miley a treasurer to receive the money from the several congregations and to pay the same to Brother Arney for his benefit, to sustain him as an Evangelist for three months.

Ordered that Bother J. J. Jackson be furnished with a letter of dismisson, showing his resignation.

Resolved that the next meeting be at Narrow Passage on Friday before the 4th Sunday in May 1849. Resolved that we adjourn untill our next meeting on Friday before the 4th Sunday in May 1849.
