The Shenandoah Valley Cooperation having met at Narrow Passage the 8th day of November 1851 agreeable to appointment.
[Trans. Note : This should probably be dated 1850 in consideration of its location in the book between the September 1850 minutes and those of February 1851 which included the report of Bro. Hite on the general cooperation held in December 1850 in Richmond. RAS]

1st question being asked by the moderator is the congregation worshiping at Narrow Passage and Union Forge alternately in harmony and peace answered in the affirmative
2nd question being asked by the moderator is the congregation worshiping at Fairview in harmony and peace answered in the affirmative
3rd question what is the number of members worshiping at Narrow Passage and Union Forge answered fifty three

A motion then being made to Receive into cooperation the messengers from the congregation worshiping at Zion and unanimously adopted the said messengers were H P Bader, Amos Crabill and Harrison Crabill
7th question what is the No. of members worshiping at Zion answered Forty

A motion then being made to receive the messengers into cooperation from the congregation worshiping at the Marsh Frederick County Va and unanimously received said messengers were Martin Boehm & Joseph Orndorff
9th question what is the No. of members worshiping at the Marsh answered Twenty Two

The church worshiping at Sandy Ridge Hampshire County Va No. Twenty Eight members was represented by letter and also unanimously Received into Cooperation.
1st Resolved that the letter received from the congregation worshiping at Sandy Ridge Hampshire Co. be filed on the Cooperation Book.
2nd Resolved that the cooperation in the valley will send send a messenger to the general cooperation held in Richmond City.
3rd Resolved that Bro. I R Hite be the messenger to the general cooperation.
4th Resolved unanimously that Brother Hite represent them in the general Cooperation in all matters and measures pertaining to the advancement of the Mesiahs Cause.
5th Resolved that Bro. Hite be instructed to solicit the general Cooperation to send Bro. G. W. Abel to Evangelize in the valley of Va for the year 1851.
6th Resolved that we the congregations in the valley of Va in cooperation do agree to pay the sum of 140 dollars for to sustain the Evangelist for year 1851.
7th Resolved that the church at Narrow Passage pay 50 dollars, the church at Fairview pay 35 dollars, the church at Zion 35 dollars, the church at the Marsh pay 20 dollars, the church at Sandy Ridge $!0.00.
8th Resolved that the congregations in cooperation agree to pay an equal proportionate part of the expence that may attend the messenger to the general cooperation held at Richmond city.
9th Resolved unanimously that we the cooperation advise the Bretheren at Zion to use all possible means to obtain the property and privileges belonging to said church now in the hands of the Strickler faction and if they do not succeed that we sustain them in the pursuit of a Legal course.
10th Resolved that the messenger to the general cooperation be furnished with a copy of these proceedings.
11th Resolved to adjourn until the moderator see cause to call another meeting.
